The days are getting shorter and one can think of far greater things than going out into the cruel outside world where cold winds and social interactions seem to attack one out of every corner. Life confined to the small spaces of one\u2019s bedroom can get quite boring sometimes and maybe you\u2019re tired of binge-watching Netflix until your eyes bleed. Well let me introduce you to this cool non-electronic thing which is called a book and can possibly entertain you for hours. So, listen up geeks, bored people or those of you who just clicked on this article because they felt like it. I will give you some book recommendations which will probably rock your world.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

In case you don\u2019t like new-age fantasy stuff, try one of the classics. I\u2019m talking about \u201cThe Princess Bride \u201cby William Goldman.<\/p>\n

Why you definitely should read the book!!<\/h3>\n

Buttercup is devastated when her true love Westley dies so she agrees to marry Prince Humperdinck who is just as sleazy and horrible as his name implies. She is then kidnapped by a criminal mastermind called Vizzini and his crew, the giant Fezzik who is of a surprisingly gentle nature and Inigo the Spaniard whose only goal in life is to revenge his father\u2019s death by finding the killer. Ruining their plans and changing up the plot is no other than Westley himself. He is not only alive but he is not who everybody thought he was. This story is about everything that you could possibly want in a book. Adventures, fencing, revenge, giants, love, evil masterminds, miracles, lies, death, some heart-wrenching scenes and some of the greatest dialogues I have ever read. Also, it is freaking hilarious and chances are \u2013 because it was written in 1973 \u00a0\u2013 that your grandparents loved it, probably your parents did too \u00a0\u2013 so you might love it as well.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t say this often but in case you don\u2019t want to read it, because you\u2019re illiterate or just lazy \u00a0\u2013 watch the damn movie by Rob Reiner which was adapted in 1987 because it actually portrays the book in a decent way<\/p>\n
